The owners worked with Tim on this, their first home purchase, in 2009. After finding their ‘forever house’ they were ready to put this on the market in Spring of 2016. They had done a nice job updating the home including a kitchen remodel and opening up the main floor. Tim and one of his staging partners recommended a few more changes and provided direction on de-cluttering and staging, and the sellers executed the plan brilliantly and even added a few of their own last-minute touches, which turned out great.

The sellers had already purchased their next home, and wanted to sell fast, and the way the house was ready to show, things looked good. It got interesting when it was time for final list-price discussions. Tim wanted to list it at a number that the sellers felt was probably too high. You don’t here that every day–the agent suggesting a HIGHER list price! After talking through things and considering recent comps, the sellers put their trust in Tim and decided to go for it, which turned out to be a good idea. After coming oh-so-close to selling it pre-MLS after a few showings, it sold first day ‘on the market’ in multiple offers, and the sellers netted thousands of dollars more than they expected to net.
